Michael’s teaching philosophy

Michael’s patient approach to teaching bass works well with absolute beginners, and his fifteen years experience are a valuable resource for intermediate bassists looking to take their playing to the next level.

Unique lesson plans are developed for each student and include everything an aspiring bass player needs: video and audio recording on a regular basis, access to collections of books, exercises and sheet music excerpts from real world situations, and various play-along tracks and loops. Lessons also frequently make use of the enormous wealth of information available on the Internet.

No instrument is required. Want to see if bass guitar is for you before you buy? Don’t have time to stop home after work or school? Bass and amplifier can be provided during lessons.
